What We can Offer »
MOT:Everyone who uses a vehicle on the road must keep it in a roadworthy condition. The MOT test checks that vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards. You can take your vehicle for its next MOT up to 28 days prior to the expiry date, giving you a new MOT valid for up to 13 months.
For more information on the MOT test visit www.vosa.gov.uk
Servicing:Keeping your vehicle regularly serviced is guaranteed to expand the lifespan of your car. Many car owners fully service their car yearly or every 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Ideally a service not only maintains the engine, it also gives us the opportunity to find any defects on your car during our vehicle check and allows us to rectify the problem before it becomes catastrophic or results in a breakdown.
Brakes:One of the most important safety features on a vehicle is it's braking system, bringing a car to a halt in a matter of metres over and over again during its lifetime, brakes are a life saving component. Here at Eurotec Motors we regard your safety as our main priority and strongly recommend to have your braking system checked regularly to prevent failure, which in turn could be fatal.
Take advantage of our FREE brake check, for more information visit our 'promotions' page.
Exhaust:Your exhaust system is effectively a series of pipes and boxes which have four main functions: to balance emissions and direct fumes away from the passengers, to reduce noise, to improve fuel consumption and to improve the performance of the engine.
The four main components of an exhaust are:
- Front Pipe: designed to direct gases and emissions away from the engine cylinders and to the exhaust system.
- Catalytic Convertor: Designed to reduce the amount of harmful gases.
- Middle Section: Designed to reduce noise.
- Tail Pipe (Silencer): Designed to reduce pressure which in turn further reduces sound and directs emissions away from the vehicle and passengers.
At Eurotec Motors we recommend you have your exhaust checked atleast twice a year for cracks, corrosion, excessively worn rubber mountings, broken hangers, failed gaskets and an illegal amount of pollutant emissions.
